British summertime wedding at Anran

Anran has long been one of my favourite venues to work at. With so many beautiful areas to make your wedding truly spectacular.

For this June wedding the key aim was to be 100 percent British which on such a big scale can be testing but we did it. All flowers came from surrounding flower farms who worked incredibly hard to make sure we had everything looking fabulous.

The Bridal bouquet was created with a mix of whites, ivory and a touch of greenery. Sweet peas, corncockle, orlaya and a few garden roses created an elegant mix for this fully British floral bouquet. We finished it with satin ribbon and wrapped a precious family locket around for a sentimental touch.

The sun was shining all day in the famous Anran Glasshouse and Fern Godfrey and her team created a stunning look with crisp white linen, rows of florals and adding a touch of blush with candles and glassware.

Something we love to do and specialise in at Emma Hewlett Floral Design is building installations and when our client asked us to bring more greenery into the roof of the Anran Glasshouse, this was right up our street. Using sustainable methods and no floral foam we created a selection of ‘clouds’ that hung from the roof line.

The ceremony took place by the Pond and although a very windy, the blue skies created such an amazingly relaxed backdrop.

All in all this was a fav of ours to work one, particularly as we really could showcase what can be created with local and British florals.
